Volunteer Categories
Youth Mentorship & Support
Help guide young leaders through civic education, community projects, and personal development. Volunteers support workshops, youth events, and mentorship activities.
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per month
Elder Storytelling & Oral History
Assist with oral history interviews, transcription, event support, and community archiving. Volunteers help preserve Braddock’s legacy and honor elder voices.
Time Commitment: 2–3 hours per month
Community Arts & Events
Support local arts programming, mural projects, cultural events, and creative workshops. Volunteers help uplift Braddock’s artistic identity.
Time Commitment: Flexible — event-based
Housing Justice & Resource Support
Help distribute resources, support tenant workshops, assist families navigating housing challenges, and contribute to community outreach.
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per month
Share Your Professional Skills
We welcome volunteers with specialized skills who want to support community projects, organizational development, or program expansion.
